Jack was born and grew up in Akron, Ohio. Jack graduated with a business degree and played his college golf at Malone University in Canton, Ohio. Jack moved to South Florida in 1988 to begin his career in golf in Florida. Jack has been a PGA Professional since 1991 and has served on many PGA section and chapter committees and boards throughout his years as a PGA Professional. Jack has qualified and competed in several professional tours including the Honda Classic, Doral Ryder Open and several Nike Tour events. Jack was the Director of Golf at the beautiful Boca Grove Golf and Tennis club from 1991 through 2001. Jack has been at Oriole since 2001 overseeing the facilities operations.
Jack’s Tip of the day: Hold your finish position on every swing for three seconds (including practice swings) to improve your balance.
Oriole’s greens are in fantastic condition this season. Come out and see for yourself.

Since David's arrival here at Oriole Golf Club in November of 2018, David has played a pivitol role in Oriole's desire to promote junior golf. David runs junior golf clinics weekly and is the head instructor at our summer week long junior golf camps. David has overseen the golf operations at several clubs in Broward county including Grande Oaks, Jacaranda and Lago Mar Country Club. David could possibly be the hardest working golf professional in the business.
David's Tip of the day: To play more consistent golf, work on your set-up, stance, posture and ball position! A good foundation is key for consistent performance. For help with any of these fundamentals, don’t hesitate to consult with your local PGA Professional.

George has been with us at Oriole Golf Club since early 2004. George is a do-it-all golf professional. There is no job to big for George. Asside from being an excellet instructor George's specializes in all facet's of club repair, golf shop management and tournament preparations.

Since 1997 Debbie has been the Golf Shop Manager at Oriole. Debbie is the glue that holds everything together, not only in the golf shop, but the entire club. If you need a question answered it would be wise to ask Debbie.

Fred Klitz

Fred is only the third golf course superintendent since Oriole opened its doors in 1971. Fred follows long time Oriole superintendent Gary Fischer who retired in late 2024. Fred has gained useful experience from several courses in the Broward including Palmaire, Pompano Municipal and most recently, Lago Mar Country Club.
Fred's Tip of the day: Please keep all four wheels of your golf cart on the cart path around greens and tees. Thank you for raking the bunkers and filling the divots-IT HELPS.
Travis Fischer

Travis started playing golf as a junior golfer accross the street at Margate Executive Golf Couse many years ago. Travis first started his work experience in our bag room in 2008. Travis eventually moved to golf course maintenence soon after that, and has been on the crew ever since. Travis was named our assistant superintendent in early 2025. Travis is on his way as an apprentice to becoming a member of the National Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
Travis's Tip of the day: Please keep all four wheels of your golf cart on the cart path around greens and tees. Thank you for raking the bunkers and filling the divots-IT HELPS. (This should sound familiar).
